56 year old female with a past medical history of lupus presented with a painful mass in the right parotid for the past four months. A CT of the neck and soft tissue showed a complex lobulated mass at the inferior margin of the superficial lobe of the right parotid gland measuring 2.9 cm in greatest dimension. A fine needle aspiration was performed. Direct smears were made and a cell block was prepared.
