The patient is a 59 year old man with a history of dyspepsia. On upper GI endoscopy, the endoscopist discovers an approximately 4 cm submucosal mass in the gastric fundus with ulceration. Using endoscopic ultrasound, she noted that the lesion was hypoechoic and had some anechoic areas. Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration was performed.
