The patient is a 15 year old male with a 3.5 cm non-tender mobile left neck mass. The lesions was first noted by the patient as a small swelling under his left ear over the preceding 3-4 months and was described as increasing in size. He denied any weight loss, night sweats, fevers, or over skin changes during this time period. It was treated empirically with 1 week of antibiotics without clinical signs of improvement. A fine needle aspiration was ultimately performed of the lesion.
