A 60 year old male presented with a large mediastinal mass, supraclavicular lymphadenopathy, liver nodule and a right-sided lung nodule on computed tomographic imaging. For initial diagnosis, a biopsy of the lymph node was performed and diagnosed, with subsequent development of bilateral pleural effusions. The pleural effusions were drained with a sample submitted for cytologic diagnostic evaluation.
