A 58 year old woman presented with an 8 month history of right cheek and neck swelling first noticed following an upper respiratory tract infection. An MRI showed a 3.5 cm a cystic well demarcated, encapsulated lesion with focal enhancement. The mass was centered in the deep portion of the right parotid gland and abutted the posterior mandible. Tissue sampling was suggested and a fine needle aspiration (FNA) was performed.
