Thyroid Mass in a 20 Year Old Male

20 year old male presented with left vocal cord paralysis. Computed tomography imaging revealed a 3.4 x 2.0 x 1.6 cm oval shaped mass arising from the lower pole of the left lobe of thyroid and compressing the left laryngeal nerve. Numerous enlarged lymph nodes were present in the left neck. Fine needle aspiration biopsy of the thyroid mass and two of the lymph nodes were performed.
